The Bible aslo says in Proverbs 25:16 "Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it."

surviving birthday week

wow this has been a busy week. this is the fist time ive had a chance to blog. i can honestly say that i survived my birthday and didnt go over with my cards. wohoo. im doing real good so far. about 3 days ago i had gotton the induction flu but the very next day i had a burst of energy. so much that i couldnt sit still and actually cleaned and rearranged my house. well one week completed of atkins and ive lot 6 lbs. wohoo. cant wait till its 10 and then 20. man and my huby luvs me he bought me an exercise game for the wii that tracks your calories and heart rate but is fun.

Atkins day 4

well i survived the mothers daughter banquet today at my fav restaurant golden corral ahhh. it never fails when you changeyour diet all these things start happening. i still gotta make it through my birthday on thursday and my date on saturday. oh well thats life.the good news though is im weighing in 4 lbs lighter in 4 days,the bad new is i have the induction flu.it hit meout of the blue. so ive been a little dizzy and light headed,but
i know my body is just detoxing and it will pass. ill tell you one thing ive actually had more energy lately.

To Eat or not To Eat that is the Question

well today was my second day on atkins and finally im showing traces of burning fat. thankfully i havent come down with the induction flu as of yet. thats when the toxin are being flushed out of your body and you get flu like symtoms like a headache or diziness. make sure to drnk plenty of water and exercise and you wont feel it as much. im also proud to say that i resisted temtation tonight. we were invited to dinner at friends hows and they had tacos! ahhhhhhhhh! but i just made it into a good ole taco salad and i skipped out on th icecream and had me a shakeology when i got home instead. half a scoop of course since it does contain carbs. to me it tastes like a smoothie mmmmmmmmmmm

Atkins Induction/Wii Fit Day 1

Well today is the start of a journey I haven't been on for awhile. To lose weight and to keep it off. Right now I am weighing at 192. Yes I actually said my weight for the whole world to know. But I am not ashamed or embarrassed. It is who I am at this point in my life, but not for long. You see, about 5 yrs ago I was weighing in around 150. I was 15 lbs away from my ideal weight. Then the joys of life set in, "I got married and got pregnant!" Well 5 years and 3 kids later here I sit. I am determined to lose my baby fat and get back to feeling healthy and in shape.
I am starting the atkins diet today. I am only allowed to eat 20 carbs per day for 2 weeks. This is called the induction phase. I will also be working out on the wii fit for 30 minutes a day since i have to start out slowly exercising.(I had a csection 7 weeks ago). So please pray for me that I may be able to stay strong and steer away from the temptations of the wrong foods. "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matt. 26:41.

AND MY FLESH IS WEAK TO ALL THINGS SWEET, ESPECIALLY CHOCOLATE AHHHHH!!!
